Longton Fire Station Visit
Year 1 were very lucky to visit Longton Fire Station on the 28th January and 1st February.
We told the firefighters all that we knew about the Great Fire of London and they were very impressed. We talked about the differences between fire safety then and now. Afterwards, we got to look around the fire station at the gym, staff room and lounge where the fire fighters have a rest. Then we got to look through all of their important equipment and were finally allowed to sit in the fire engines!
