Deep Hayes Country Park
Year 6 had an amazing day at Deep Hayes Country Park.
Children worked in groups to build and light fires, they were so enthused and excited by the activity and I need to add; successful too. We also learnt how to purify water.We discussed the equipment needed and after a quick demonstration; we began to purify our own water and used this to make a hot chocolate (it was much needed on our cold day). We really did have a fantastic day and learnt so much.
