Year 5LS visit York

On Tuesday 21st November 2023, Year 5LS went on a visit to York to learn all about The Vikings. When we arrived, we completed an archaeological dig, like real Historians would do to try and find clues about the past. We found lots of evidence to help us to understand more about The Vikings.

After this, we visit The Jorvik Centre. Here we saw the remains of a real Viking home. We then got to take a ride into the past and experience what life would be like during The Viking time including smells from the time!
