Year 6 residential visit to Standon Bowers

On Monday 5th June, members of Year 6 went on a 2 night residential to Standon Bowers. While we were there, the children participated in many exciting activities. They worked on their archery skills before having a go at axe throwing. They also got to ride a BMX on a real pump track. Many of the children conquered their fear of heights by taking on a climbing wall and working on the high ropes. They were really brave when they jumped off from a great height. The children also went underground when they went caving, using only a torch to find their way around. All of the children really enjoyed their time on the trip and conquered many of their fears.
