Year 2LG visit Rhyl
2LG enjoyed a great British day at the seaside, complete with the great British weather! We didn't let the rain dampen our spirits though as we experienced a seaside holiday like our grandparents would have had in the recent past. We spent time playing on the beach, had a sandcastle building competition (it became very competitive!) and we collected some shells to keep as souvenirs. We spent some time exploring the Seaquarium and shared our knowledge of the different sea creatures that we could see. We enjoyed watching a seal show and ended the day with a delicious ice cream. Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!
